Abstract :
Multi-probe systems constitute a promising means for over-the-air testing of diversity and MIMO mobile terminals. This paper investigates appropriate probe configurations for multi-probe systems for synthesizing desired channel conditions inside the system. The paper concentrates on synthesis of such channels in which incoming fields to the mobile device are not exactly on the horizontal plane but in a narrow elevation angle in the vicinity of the horizontal plane.
