Abstract :
It is reported, for the first time, a tunable grating-assisted vertical wavelength-selective filter based on InGaAsP/InP MQW. The filter presents a tunability range of 550 Å at 6.0 V, an optical and electrical bandwidth of 45 Å and 1.5 GHz, respectively. For unitary coupling efficiency the length is only 2.55 mm with 7.24 dB intrinsic loss
