Abstract
To meet the needs of multi-band work of RFID tags, this paper makes use of meandered parallel dipole and symmetric branches to design a triple-band meandered dipole antenna with bandwidth broadened for passive RFID tags. The designed antenna is simulated by electromagnetic simulation software HFSS10.0, the experimental results show that: this antenna covers the RFID UHF frequency band (902-928 MHz) and two microwave frequencies (2.45GHz and 5.8 GHz), working at the center frequency of 910 MHz, 2.45GHz and 5.8 GHz, and their bandwidths are 120, 90, 180MHz respectively, the results of return loss simulation and the actual measurements are in good agreement.
