Abstract :
This paper introduces a contactless temperature monitoring device applied to the rotor of generators. Firstly, the importance of rotor temperature monitoring of generators is explained, then the current development of the rotor temperature measurement is also introduced. Secondly, the design of RF Temperature monitoring system for the rotor that we are studying is proposed, and the stability and accuracy of the device are demonstrated by comparing with the data measured by the multimeter. Thirdly, wireless power supply for permanent magnet generators is introduced briefly. Finally, the prospect and the problems of the temperature measurement system are showed.
