Abstract :
This Paper presents voltage stability assessment through P-V curve and bus voltage sensitivity factor. Active power margin is used to measure the distance to instability. Continuation power flow method and Linear Regression is adopted to obtain P-V curve of power system. Continuation power flow starting with initial operating point and increasing load to the maximum loading point. A data statistics analysis tool is used to run linear regression.
