Abstract :
To control wireless network congestion, an adaptive QoS and wireless bandwidth (adaptive-QWB) was designed in this paper. The adaptive-QWB algorithm seeks an active queue management for the optimal target queue according to the dynamic varying rate of current bandwidth. The experiment results show that the varying-time of adaptive wireless bandwidth and the QoS guaranteed in transmission delay with the adaptive-QWB algorithm are superior to those of MADR algorithm and tuned-RED algorithm.
