Abstract :
With the constant evolution of technology and the world critical environmental status, all private and public information technology (IT) businesses are moving towards sustainability. Green IT simply means using technology efficiently, while taking into account the triple bottom line: "economic viability, social responsibility and environmental impact". This article focuses on the criteria and factors for Green IT projects\´ success within organizations. Based on the drivers of this green wave and international existing practices, it establishes two models for Green IT project management and organizational project success evaluation. Managing the environmental dimension is done from both a quality and impact approach, while aligning the strategy with corporate social responsibility.
