Abstract :
This paper presents the design and implementation of a high definition image recorder on demand. When a push button is pressed, the board captures the current data image on the monitor, and temporarily holds the frame on an on-board DDR II SDRAM. At last, FPGA compress the data from DDR II SDRAM as JPEG file, and then send the compressed data to a storage device via a USB port. It works as a stand alone information manager of a monitor.
