Abstract :
This paper presents a minimum destructive interference design of dual-stage actuator (DSA) control systems. A measure of destructive interference between voice coil motor and MA is proposed. In the DSA control design, the measure of destructive interference is minimized to attain satisfactory time and frequency responses. Robustness analysis is conducted using the structured singular value method on the resulting DSA control system with linear fractional transformation unmodeled dynamics uncertainties
