Abstract :
In order to provide a more clean and better denoising result, a novel denoising method called wiener filtering using neighboring coefficients (WNC) is proposed in this paper. It combined both the advantages of neighboring coefficients (NC) and wiener filtering. Experimental results show that WNC can effectively suppress the noise components of different kinds of signals. It is better than the traditional Wiener filtering, NC scheme and hard thresholding. Comparing other 3 methods, the average SNR improvement of the signals denoised by the WNC scheme was increased by 0.199dB, 1.438dB and 2.345 dB, respectively.
