  • Abstract
    We describe the color transient improvement (CTI) involving the detection and sharpening the edges in chrominance. CTI algorithm works purely on the U and V data within a frame, modifying this data where necessary to sharpen U and V transients. The CTI algorithm works on the U and V data independently.
