We have studied the theory of the process of knowledge transfer, the characters of the knowledge diffusion among teachers and students and the related factors. We find there are four stages in the process of knowledge diffusion among teachers and students in local universities and each stage is influenced by different factors. A conceptual model about the factors that effect knowledge diffusion among teachers and students in local universities is proposed As we have studied the QianLi IT institute in a college of Economics and Management, we have a empirical analysis of the factors affecting knowledge diffusion, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the knowledge diffusion in local colleges.
