Abstract
To overcome the limits imposed by acoustic attenuation and velocity, a low cost acousto-electro-optic interaction configuration with high channel number possibilities is proposed. From the turbulence and temperature effects on the measurement uncertainties, the authors establish the relative importance of those two parameters for radio astronomical observations at millimeter wavelengths
