Abstract
A novel all-optical delay circuit based on fiber loops where optical phase conjugator and distributed Raman amplification are applied to suppress both Kerr effect and fiber dispersion in order to extend the delay time. The numerical simulation result shows that our proposed optical delay circuit can give the maximum delay time in the order of 10 ms for the data rate as high as 160 Gbit/s
