Abstract :
The method of characteristics prediction of D350 torque converter is presented. Based on the 3D model of the working wheels, the geometry model and the mesh model are established by partition the passage. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, D350 converter characteristics is predicted. The validity of the method is proved by prediction results and experimental results. The process provides scientific basis for the design of torque converter.
