Abstract
In this paper, a heterogeneity-based strategy for resource distribution in P2P Network is proposed. This strategy combines the query-capacity of peer with the resources. In P2P network, the peer with abundant resource will generate a resource distribution Agent actively, the Agent walk randomly in the system to supply resource for the peer with high query-capacity but less resource. Experimental results show that the strategy for resource distribution can effectively improve the search efficiency of the P2P file sharing system.
