Abstract
By using Lagrange equations, the mathematical model and simplified model of the ball and plate system are derived effectively. Base on this simplified model, a PID control strategy based RBF neural network tuning scheme is proposed for position control of the ball and plate system, and simulation study is made. The simulation results show that the control scheme given in this paper is feasible, the output of the system can track the set point value approximately.
