Abstract :
This paper is tend to describe an automated analysis method and software package tool for critical software -SFMEA (Software´s Failure Mode Effect Analysis), as well as its application in digital fly control systems. This package is developed on the basis of combination of advanced matrix technique and traditional tabular method. When performed in an accurate and timingly fashion, SFMEA can be an invaluable source of information for the design of test systems, the development of trouble shooting procedures, the planning of scheduled maintenance, the examination for software systems´ strengths and weaknesses. As a qualitative nature, SFMEA can be extended to cover the complete or partial software of the systems. As an example, this paper performs an analysis of digital fly control system with the method above. For other software systems, the analysis procedure is similar to it
