Abstract :
A concurrent algorithm written in OCCAM for circle generation using integers has been converted previously (1993) by hand for implementation in VLSI with multiple CPUs on one chip. This paper reports on the conversion of the original OCCAM program into VLSI, the testing of the design using IDaSS2 and the overall VLSI design. The use of the ES2 ECPD15 library of standard cells, with particular reference to the use of ROM generator for the microcode of the three processors, the design of the interprocessors links and the use of analog standard cells is emphasized
