Abstract
This paper proposes an approach derived from the immune system response regulatory mechanism for finding firing sequences of a sub-class of Petri nets defined as P1-nets. Due to its outstanding distributed search performance, this approach is expected to have applicability in large systems with distributed characteristics. Simulations were carried out for demonstrating the validity of this approach.
