Abstract
Mobile WiMAX based on IEEE 802.16e standard has been developed for high-speed data rate applications especially in mobile environments compared with other IEEE 802 series standards. Because of scarce frequency resources, it is unavoidable to interfere the neighboring commercial mobile networks when mobile WiMAX system is deployed. Then the problem of co-existence with other mobile systems is studied. We start with the realistic problem, and provide the detailed research method and simulation results. At the same time, the suggestions to alleviate the interference are obtained. The analysis methods and results are very helpful to the real network planning and optimization
