Abstract :
The Microstrip Reflectarray antenna with elements arranged in rectangular grid with circular boundary is used. Here work presents phase only synthesis method for covering India in a contour beam shape. The 2-Dimensional Fast Fourie Transofr is ised for fast computation of array factor. Directivity is calculated for entire UV - range. The cost function is defined in terms of directivity point lying within the given contour region. Powell´s optimization Method is used to obtain the optimum phase function that gives the Indian Coverage.
