Abstract :
Cloud is an emerging technology to deliver computing as a service rather than as a product. Migration of virtual machines has proved to be a useful tool to reduce the number of dropped client requests and to facilitate system maintenance at a large scale. Clients share the same instance of an infrastructure although given an abstraction of separate instances through the concept of multitenancy. Multitenancy and virtual machine migration are being used in the cloud service provider´s side for system maintenance and to improve the overall QoS of the system. Although this considers QoS at a system level, each client is provided with the same level of QoS unless and until he has explicitly paid for it. We propose an architecture which intends to provide better QoS for high paying customers, while compromising the same for low paying customers. The available infrastructure is provided to clients in a biased manner so that clients who pay more are more satisfied and are encouraged to subscribe to the service longer. Therefore we propose a change from system centric to client centric service providing.
