Abstract :
From the view of sustainable development, the paper analyzes land resource arrangement for great sports event, including three layout modes for sports venues: decentralized, "single center" cluster, and "multi-center" cluster. The paper selects the Olympic venues as the cases for in-depth analysis, focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of each layout mode. It aims to reveal the influence of great sports event on urban sustainable development, and to reflect on the relationship between them.
