Abstract
It is shown how the author´s theory (1984, 1988) of linear adaptive control can be generalized to accommodate plant models having input-derivative (numerator dynamics) terms. This generalization significantly extends the range of practical applications for linear adaptive control. Only the main ideas and procedures for modifying linear adaptive control theory to accommodate input-derivative terms are outlined
