Abstract :
A novel prototype of analog dual band-pass filter is proposed based on the abnormal behavior of composite right/left-handed structure. The filter exhibits a monotonic behavior in the stop-band and a ripple behavior in the pass-band. The transfer function of the proposed filter is analyzed and the zeros-poles plot is given. The dual band property of the proposed filter is beneficial to modern wireless communication systems covering two bands
