Abstract :
The target of This work is to determine a proper method for forecasting output of wind power turbine (WPT). We introduced two methods using different types of input, namely meteorology forecasting method (MFM) and observational forecasting method (OFM). In MFM, output is converted from the forecasted result of wind speed in installation site of target WPT, based on the input of compound data system innovated from original annual-hourly weather data. Three candidate techniques are involved in MFM by using the authors designed software. In OFM, output is forecasted based on five observational annual-hourly data obtained from the WPT under operation. Two candidate techniques are involved in OFM simulation. As the target of This work, the proper result fs determined based on the results obtained from MFM and OFM.
