  • Abstract
Plantation is playing an increasingly important role in ensuring the ecological security and supplying wood in china. This paper discusses the Resource-economical and Environment friendly countermeasures in harvesting and utilizing Plantation. The Resource-economical harvesting countermeasures include pushing on the forest harvest quota policy, taking full advantage of the land suitable for forestation, enhancing the plantation´s tending cutting and enhancing the improvement of the low yield plantation, taking full advantage of the various parts of trees and the logging residues, popularizing the Resource-economical and environment-friendly harvesting technologies. The environment friendly harvesting countermeasures include setting the buffer zone, controlling the cutting intensity, adopting the reasonable cutting systems, using the Environment-friendly skidding mode, clearing the cutting area.
