            Abstract :
Recording and exchanging the collaborative product definition information is an important aspect of digital product collaborative development process. To resolve the problem of records the product collaborative definition information, promote the implementation and application of product collaborative development technology, MBD (Model Based Definition) driven product collaborative development technology was proposed. The essence of MBD which uses an integrated three-dimensional solid model to express the product definition information fully was analyzed. At the same time, the types of product collaborative definition information were summarized, and the three methods such as attribute expression, annotation expression, attribute add annotation co-expression were proposed to express the non-geometric product manufacturing information. In addition, the process of exchanging and recording product collaborative definition information with MBD technology was described.
