Abstract :
This paper introduces a word-based CWDD (curvature weighted distance difference) self-embedding watermarking scheme for document images encoded in binary format. The primary focus of the newly designed scheme lies in improving the coding efficiency of self-embedding watermark in binary text images to a higher level. The second focus of the design consideration is to minimize the chances of extraneous detection and restoration failure due to tampering compared to another reference self-embedding watermarking scheme
