Abstract
A patented method is described for transforming the magnetic energy of an inductive store filled with working gas. The method consists of storing the energy in a volume with working gas, ionizing it, heating the plasma, and then interrupting the current in the store. The closed current turn arising in the plasma is maintained by the stored energy within the plasma itself
