Abstract :
Time delay uncertainty among the sensors, actuators and controllers is a key problem for the networked control system (NCS). After analyzing the time delay characteristic of a networked AGC system, a robust AGC controller is presented in this paper to meet the networked time-delayed environment by using the time-delayed system control theory. The time-dependent stabilizing criteria is adopted to design the robust H∞ controller, the controller is solved by the linear matrix inequalities (LMI). It can reduce the conservativeness inherent in robust performance of time-delayed system. A two-area AGC system is studied through digital simulations, to demonstrate the comprehensive applications of the proposed strategy, and the result shows the effectiveness of the presented strategy.
