            Abstract :
Temperature dependent high frequency (30-60 kHz) parameters of piezoelectric PVDF have been investigated by use of the length mode resonance. The material parameters were obtained by comparing the impedance angles around the resonance peaks with theoretical values. Data is presented showing that piezoelectric response at a high frequency decreases more quickly with decreasing temperature than the normally reported low frequency values, an important consideration in device design.
