XML Based RFID Event Management Framework

RFID middleware is a media layer system between pre-end RFID readers and back-end applications. With the help of RFID middleware, the deployment of RFID applications and its integration to legacy systems can be greatly simplified. Event management module has been recognized as one of the core functions of RFID middleware. In this paper, a scalable event management framework is proposed, which consists of event coding module, three different level filters and two executive engines.
