Abstract :
Real-time communication demands perfection not only at hardware level but also at the software level design. Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) plays a vital role in empowering the timeliness sensitive communication and especially its Kernel design must be sensitive to compensate the delay due to hardware interaction and layered performance. From layered view, a messy contribution is required from each layer design and its relevant protocols as well as cross layer protocols to lessen different delays. Real-Time routing in WSN is a non-separable part of this delay sensitiveness. Our proposed mechanism QERT, for achieving the temporal constraint criteria of application with power-aware features simply relies on in-network processing with customized proactive routing strategy. QERT´s stateless architecture with concealed update network information and localized behavior not only favors the real-time communication but also provides energy aware route selection with fault-tolerance in route discovery.
