Abstract :
In this paper, enhanced OSIC (ordered successive interference cancellation) algorithm combined with ML (maximum likelihood) is considered for double TxAA (transmit antenna array) MIMO (multi-input multi-output) system. Error propagation is known to be inherent drawback of OSIC algorithm and deteriorate system performance significantly. Its performance is seriously affected, in particular, by the last layer in which symbol detection could be erroneous due to incorrect detections and accumulation from previous layers. To improve performance effectively, our proposed scheme employs the ML detection to the last layer. From the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional OSIC algorithm in both spatially uncorrelated and correlated fading channels.his electronic document is a ¿live¿ template.
