  • Abstract
A problem associated with two dimensional (2D) EIT is that the injected current is not confined to the plane in which it is applied. Off-plane conductivity changes therefore have a significant effect on the reconstructed image. We have implemented a 3D reconstruction algorithm with 64 electrode data collection system and have produced 3D images of the human thorax
