Abstract :
In the paper, we investigate the Cooperation based Adaptive Decentralized self-management (CADSM) scheme for Ad hoc networks. The characteristics of the approach are that there is no manager or agent, and the network management is performed under the cooperation of all nodes. Since the network load is shared over all nodes, it avoids the bottleneck happened in traditional management scenarios. A dynamic routing mechanism is proposed to cater the topology dynamics and other physical limitations. The system throughput is maximized via an adaptive transmission power method.
