Abstract :
Military and general aviation training organizations continually have to employ less experienced instructors. As this trend is expected to continue, there is a need to provide ways to help less experienced instructors do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. The paper presents the architecture for an intelligent instructor pilot decision support system that helps instructors during simulated missions instruction, post-flight debriefing, and performance evaluation.
