Abstract :
Location awareness is important for WSNs since many applications depend on knowing the locations of sensor nodes. However, putting GPS receivers in every node or manually configuring locations is not cost effective for most sensor network applications. Recently some localization techniques have been proposed to allow nodes to estimate their locations using information transmitted by a set of seed nodes that know their own locations (for example, because they have GPS receivers). In the special model that we used, just one node is equipped with a GPS receiver. The purpose of this algorithm is providing accurate algorithms with low energy consumption for positioning in WSNs. In this method for localizing we give importance to the various communication paths between nodes and beacon. Simulation Results show that using fuzzy logic and giving importance to different paths improve the accuracy of routing and reduce the energy consumption.
