Abstract
High-speed, flexible and reliable detection schemes are the demands for today´s communication systems while keeping in mind the complexity issues. In this comparative study; different detection schemes in UWB-MIMO systems have been analyzed. The V-BLAST algorithms with OSIC are briefly discussed and simulated to differentiate their performance by considering the multipath environment. In particular, the ZF-OSIC-RAKE and MMSE-OSIC-RAKE were used to evaluate the performance of UWB-MIMO system and then it was compared with the ML algorithm. The performance comparison results are based on the number of paths of the signal and number of antennas.
