Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. A new experimental double wire array configuration on the Z Machine, consisting of one wire array above and one wire array below a Hohlram, was scheduled. The Experimenter requested diagnostic timing resolvable to less than 200 ps between different line-of-sight recording locations that would view the top and bottom Z-pinches. Several meters physically separate the lines-of-sight. A series of experiments, with geometry´s similar to the new experiment, were conducted between the time the request was made and the actual double wire array experiment. These tests allowed a demonstration of system timing accuracy prior to the experiment that required critical timing accuracy. This paper will detail these shots and the results obtained.
