Abstract :
For the purpose of ensuring system security and fairness among the units, a competitive mechanism for maintenance scheduling is presented in this paper. Units in the market bid for the maintenance space. It can be separated into three steps while scheduling units´ maintenance. First, the concept of available maintenance capacity is introduced so as to confirm how much capacity in the market can be planned outage in a certain period. Secondly, a completely transparent bidding model and the corresponding algorithm are given. Thirdly, units´ maintenance cost and surplus come from the bidding is rearranged to minimize supplier´s cost. Theoretical analysis and case study shows that the mechanism guarantee impartiality well.
