Abstract
This paper presents a generic approach to Active Noise Control using adaptive feedforward and feedback techniques. These adaptive control strategies incorporate high levels of design automation that provide generic solutions for both non-stationary broad-band and periodic sound. Practical evaluations for both techniques are presented for a single channel case. After the initial computer simulations, real-time implementations using the TMS320C30 DSP chip were conducted to evaluate the performance of the adaptive controllers
