Abstract :
Although some reputation schemes have been proposed for ad hoc networks, they are still not the most suitable for WMNs due to the special infrastructure and communication mode in WMNs. In this paper, a hierarchical reputation management framework for WMNs is presented. We show how to collect and query reputation values in an accurate, secure and efficient manner. The correlation validation algorithm is presented to detect both clients´ and routers´ misbehavior and ensure reliable information aggregation. The simulation results show that our model performs well in terms of computational overload, detection accuracy, and scalability.
