Abstract :
This paper presents a compressive sensing based method to reconstruct electrocardiogram (ECG) signals in the presence of electromyographic (EMG) noise. The symmetric α-stable (SαS) distribution is used to model the EMG interference and the proposed reconstruction algorithm is based on fractional lower-order moments to efficiently deal with the large variance of the noise. The method is validated using real data from the MIT-BIH Noise Stress Test Database.
