Abstract :
The structural and architectural design and silicon implementation of a low-power 13-bit linear sigma-delta ADC and DAC for use with digital mobile telephone systems is described together with the design and conformance test methodology. The codec described in this paper operates with four different master clock frequencies, 12.8, 13, 19.2 and 19.44 MHz
