Abstract :
Proposes an engine dependent prime factor algorithm for the computation of an N-point discrete Fourier transform in real-time, where N is prime. A mathematical model for the algorithm is derived and simulation is carried out using Fortran code. The engine modelled is based on commercially available digital signal microprocessors
