Abstract :
(Full Paper not available at time of publication) The first part of the paper describes principal features and special testing of a power transformer designed and developed for space use. The magnetic requirements include a wide variety of operating conditions such as 2.25kW continuous power and primary current to 35A RMS at frequencies up to 20kHz. The main secondary Is at 1100V but there is an additional minor power secondary operating at 550 volts, thereby adding design considerations such as interwinding corona control.
