Presents the design of a nonlinear controller from the viewpoint of energy saving for power electronic systems. Considering the interest in energy saving for industry, both an intelligent energy saving power system controller in a DC power plant for Korean Telecommunications and an efficiency optimization controller for an induction motor drive are selected as examples of applications
